Foundation Partner of STEP Consulting, David has more than 25 years of experience in management consulting. He has been mainly acting on technology intensive industries such as aeronautics, defense and energy production.
David started his career as “Lean Manufacturing” project leader for the industrial division of 3M France. During 4 years, he conducted several industrial performance improvement projects and worked on all the industrial French sites. He implemented industrial management best practices.
For PwC Consulting, David participated to several major transformation programs for aerospace global leading companies, in merger & acquisition or performance enhancement contexts.

Florent has 18 years of experience in management consulting for industrial companies. He holds an engineering degree from Ecole Central de Lyon and a Master in Business Administration from Paris-Sorbonne.

GEOFFREY LASSERRE - Partner
Geoffrey is an engineer graduated from SUPAERO. He has 16 years of experience and 10 in consulting.
Starting his career in an aerospace manufacturer design office, he discovers this sector by participating to several product development projects from design to validation phases.
In 2006, he conducted a radical change in his career path and took the lead of the “Organization & Methods” department of a retailer. During 2 years he led an ambitious transformation program aiming at reducing costs and at improving operational performance. In this frame, Geoffrey was particularly focused on critical topics such as supply chain optimization, inventory reduction and margin management through product mix optimization.
With the benefits of these 2 experiences he started in 2008 a consultant career and has developed since an interesting track record in aerospace industry, delivering some key achievements such as:

Nicolas has over 19 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector.
He started as production engineer in the industry and was successively in charge of operational issues such as production management, supply chain optimization and continuous improvement.

Laura is the Financial and Admistrative Responsible at STEP. She has an International Business degree and an assistantship degree.
During the first two years of her career, she was responsible for assisting the HR manager in a world leader in energy.

Marlène, Human Resources Responsible at STEP, has 18 years of experience in support functions
In the early years of her career, Marlene worked as a management assistant in SMEs, first in the construction and public works sector, then in consulting.
After 3 years of entrepreneurial experience, she joined STEP in 2023 as Recruitment Director.
Today, she is in charge of human resources at STEP and contributes daily to the smooth running of the firm.

Alain is engineer, graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris (ECP). He has more than 20 years of experience mainly in management consulting. He worked for several key European actors of the aerospace field.
Alain developed a robust expertise on strategic projects in international contexts such as Supply-chain optimization (production and spares) , After-Sales field for Aerospace & Defense customers, as well as new Services development such as performance-based maintenance contracts.
He worked for most of the major aerospace actors (A/C manufacturers, OEMs, MROs).
He managed also several drastic costs reduction projects and world-wide supply chain improvement projects based on rapid diagnosis methodology or massive data analysis.
The results have always been visible and approved by the customers.

MARION - Director
Marion has 13 years of experience in engineering in aerospace industry. She is graduated from l’Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and from l’Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal.
Marion starts her career as a design engineer at Safran Aircraft Engines. She takes part in certification tests campaigns of the French-Russian engine SaM146, and then in the design of the Silvercrest engine. After that she joins the preliminary design teams to define the future civil and military aircraft engines, and to orientate the R&T strategy.
These last 5 years, she has developed an expertise in Model Based Systems Engineering. Notably she was the lead architect of innovative hybrid-electric propulsion solutions. She also contributed to the progression of systems engineering through the deployment of architects and tailored MBSE tools on projects, relying on the expert advice of cross business committees at group level.
During her 13 years of operational experience, Marion has been working on the whole lifecycle of a complex product, from R&T and preliminary design, to test campaigns and certification. She is also graduated as Green Belt in LEAN management, and as Confirmed System Architect by Cesames.
Marion joins STEP Consulting in 2021 to take an active part in its development, and to put her skills at the service of innovative companies of the French Aerospace and Defense industry.
THIERRY - Director
Thierry graduated from SUPAERO (MS) and from IAE Paris-Sorbonne (MBA). He has 20 years of experience in Industry, including 15 years as consultant. He deploys large scale turn arounds for sector leaders , based on detailed analytical approach on operational and financial data.
Thierry started his career in aerospace, in various operational roles for manufacturing leaders, with international involvements (North America & Europe) where he pragmatically addressed issues relative to Design, Purchasing, Supply chain, Production as well as Customer support. Then he led major strategic projects for the European division of a 1st tier aerospace supplier.
He then decided to sharpen his transformation skills by developing a consulting company focus on manufacturing company needs. ALEXANDRE - Manager
Alexandre holds a French engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris and a Master of Science from KTH Stockholm. He has 6 years of experience in the aerospace and aeronautical industries, both in France and abroad.
Alexandre starts his career with a first mission in thermal engineering at Thales Alenia Space. He then moves to the USA for two years where he takes part in the orbiting and validation of a satellite constellation. In a context with high business stakes, he controls and ensures the behaviour of several sub-systems and provides support to the customer in solving anomalies.
Working at the Thales Digital Transformation service afterwards, he contributes to preliminary projects on disruptive products such as the “Digital Twin” or a Cloud platform exploiting all types of satellite data.
Since he joined STEP in 2019, Alexandre took part in several projects for major aeronautical manufacturers:
- Joint development of a Big Data solution with a data scientist team to improve the management of production costs – Actual breakdowns, leakage analysis and recurring costs predictions
- Definition and deployment of a plan to qualify approximately 15 European facilities on their industrial processes
- Deep dive analysis of the Metrology ways of working for plants located in Europe, the US and China – processes value stream mapping, reorganisation & improvement plans for each facility

Arthur graduated from HEC Paris (Master in Management) and has 10 years’ experience in railway sector, mainly in Finance.
Arthur started his career within Alstom through a Finance Graduate Programme, and held several positions in France and abroad (Brazil and Germany) :
- R&D controller for a new locomotive ;
- FP&A analyst on French industrial footprint ;
- Team manager of 4 financial project controllers ;
- Financial project manager on Metro turnkey contrat.
Arthur also coordinated S&OP process at group level, with on overall view on 5-years outlook from commercial teams, on product selection by platforms, and on preferred industrial scenario. He also secured S&OP post-merger convergence after a significant M&A deal.
In his last job, he structured the financial follow-up of a metro turnkey contract, in a complex context : high inflation with suppliers, and claim management with customer.

BENJAMIN - Manager
Benjamin graduated from both the University of Glasgow and ISAE-SUPAERO engineering school with DESIA complementary degree in Business Engineering. After a PhD in fluid mechanics, he has spent 2 years as an aerospace research engineer.
Benjamin started his career in 2015 as a PhD candidate at Safran Aircraft Engines. His work has notably resulted in the integration of innovative numerical tools for R&T department.
He then pursued his career as a research engineer at Onera where he has contributed to support French and European Aeronautical companies through his expertise (Airbus, Safran, Thales, DGA, DGAC, etc.). Throughout his career, Benjamin participated in numerous international symposiums involving the major actors of the aircraft and the turbomachinery sectors.
At STEP, Benjamin contributed to several projects in the domain of electrification:
- Business units’ commercial practices automated analysis and assessment supported by digital solutions
- Strategic repositioning through innovations, commercial and marketing transformation practices

BRICE - Manager
Brice has 7 years of experience in the systems engineering field as well as in the operational field as a helicopter Tactical Coordinator.
After graduating from Ecole Centrale Paris, he started as a weapon system engineer for an aircraft manufacturer, where he had the opportunity to:
- Lead multi-factorial performance studies on a new aircraft in a multi-industrial environment
- Participate in evaluating and orienting technical solutions based on operational needs
- Manage development projects for various clients, going through the entire V cycle by capturing the user need and implementing it technically
- Develop and conduct test programmes meeting the high standards of the sector

He then joined the French Naval aviation as a Tactical Coordinator in the French combat helicopter NH90 Caïman. He followed a simulated and in-flight training in a demanding environment, on air navigation and operational tactics.
CYRIL - Manager
Cyril has 4 years of experience in management consulting for the industry sector, preceded by 6 years of operations in the energy industries (Oil & Gas, electricity, nuclear). His core competency areas are performance improvement, innovation, as well as the oilfield and electricity industries.
He begins his career in the energy management industry at Schneider Electric and Energy Pool on projects related to the development of automated Demand Response (electric network load balancing).

Daniel has worked 11 years in the Aeronautics field, 7 of which in the engineering field ant the other as key account manager. He graduated from Ecole Centrale de Nantes and Florida Institute Of Technology.
Daniel starts his career as a design engineer at Safran Aircraft Engines. During his technical career he alternates from R&T, new engines design, certified engines follow-up to competitors’ analysis. Thanks to this large panel of studies, he orients himself to technical expertise, redacting engine aerothermal design practices and auditing internal studies.
In 2018, he has a fresh start as Key Account Manager for LISI Aerospace Structural Components representing LISI to clients as Airbus Helicopters, Safran Aircraft Engines and Safran Transmission Systems. Through this new position, he improved his negotiation skills and discovered quality and supply constraints in the aerospace field, as well as the resolution of operations issues in forging and machining plants.
During his 11 years of work, Daniel has developed a flexible profile, having honed his technical skills as well as improving operations and sales competences.
FARID - Manager
Farid graduated from Sup de Co Paris (ESCP) and l’Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth (ESIB).
He has 22 years of experience in management consulting.

Morgane started her professional experience as a Commodity Buyer at SAFRAN Aircraft Engines. Raphael holds a French engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris and a Master of Science from KTH Stockholm. He has 8 years experience in R&D and management consulting in the aeronautics and defense area.
Raphael begun his career as an engineer in industry and in research. He successively took technical and scientific roles then on projects, with contract planning and management for the French DGA, Dassault and Safran.

BRIAN - Senior Consultant
Trained as an engineer from the ENSEEIHT and Georgia Tech, Brian has four years of international experience in strategy and management consulting. Brian has worked on strategic issues cross-industries for CAC40 and Fortune 500 companies.
During his internships, he was able to apply and strengthen his technical and analytical knowledge by developing new technologies with environmental applications or to optimize oil and gas production.
Brian began his career as a consultant in New York. There, he developed strategic action plans for large US corporations. More specifically, he has:
